What Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies (Always Active)
The Supabase authentication cookie is required for Growth Accelerator to function when you are logged in. It is:
- HttpOnly — cannot be read by JavaScript, protecting against XSS attacks
- Secure — only transmitted over HTTPS
- Contains your session token only — not your personal data, email, or profile information
Without this cookie, you cannot log in or access your dashboard.
Functional Storage
Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's localStorage. This is not technically a cookie, but we disclose it for transparency.
- It stores only the string "light" or "dark"
- It never leaves your browser
- You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data
- The app works without it — you will simply get the default light theme
What We Do Not Use
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Plausible, or similar)
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No browser fingerprinting
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Do Not Track
We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Since we do not use any tracking technologies, this is already our default behavior.
Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Deleting the authentication cookie will log you out of Growth Accelerator
- Clearing localStorage will reset your theme preference to the default
- Growth Accelerator will continue to function for unauthenticated features (the assessment) even if you block all cookies
